Transformers: Beast Wars Again Versus 2-Packs (Megatron, Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Scorponok, Cheetor, Waspinator, Blackarachnia, Tigatron, Rattrap, Terrorsaur, Dinobot, Tarantulas, Airazor, Inferno, Starscream, Ghost Starscream, Haunted Waspinator)

Megatron

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Leader Class Megatron, Kingdom Leader Class T-Wrecks, Collaborative Tyrannocon Rex

Holy crap, Megatron has a ton of paint apps. He is vastly superior to the Hasbro version. The difference is night and day.

Optimus Primal

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Voyager Class Optimus Primal, Buzzworthy Bumblebee World’s Collide Voyager Class Nemesis Primal, Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Voyager Class Optimus Primal

Optimus Primal has a better paintjob, but it’s not so much better than the original as Megatron is.

Rhinox

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Voyager Class Rhinox

It’s bad enough that Hasbro gives toys inferior paint jobs, but Rhinox wasn’t even the right color. This version is vastly superior.

Scorponok

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Scorponok, Legacy Deluxe Class Sandstorm, Buzzworthy Bumblebee Creature’s Collide Deluxe Class Scorponok

Scorponok has a better paintjob than the original, but it isn’t that different. I do love the Predacon symbol on his chest.

Cheetor

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Cheetor, Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Deluxe Cheetor, Kingdom Deluxe Class Shadow Panther, Pulse Con 2021 Deluxe Class Covert Agent Ravage, Legacy Deluxe Class Nightprowler

Finally we have Cheetor looking like he should. He’s so much better than either of Hasbro’s versions.

Waspinator

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Waspinator, Legacy Deluxe Class Buzzsaw, Buzzworthy Bumblebee Creature’s Collide Deluxe Class Skywasp

Waspinator looks great. I love the darker yellow paint and blue wings. Definitely an improvement of the Hasbro version.

Blackarachnia

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Blackarachnia, Buzzworthy Bumblebee World’s Collide Deluxe Class Blackarachnia

In spider mode the major difference between the two is her legs, which are now brown. That is definitely an improvement. In robot mode she is better than the Hasbro versions, but not as much better as some of the others.

Tigatron

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Voyager Class Tigatron, Golden Disk Collection Voyager Class Mutant Tigatron

Tigatron is cast in whiter plastic, he also has more and finer black stripes.

Rattrap

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Core Class Rattrap, Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Core Class Rattrap

Rattrap is in darker colors and the toes on his hind legs are painted.

Terrorsaur

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Airazor, Kingdom Battle Across Time Collection Deluxe Skywarp, Golden Disk Collection Deluxe Class Terrorsaur, Buzzworthy Bumblebee Legacy Deluxe Class Terrorsaur

Terrorsaur is more screen accurate.

Dinobot

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Voyager Class Dinobot, Battle Across Time Collection Voyager Class Grimlock, Buzzworthy Bumblebee: Legacy Voyager Dinobot

This might be a better and more accurate paintjob, but I still like the toy colored one, or at least I would if it had the right head. I still don’t get what they did with his dinosaur hands.

Tarantulas

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Deluxe Class Tarantulas

Tarantulas may be more screen accurate with the yellower paint, but he’s really not that different.

Airazor

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Airazor, Kingdom Battle Across Time Collection Deluxe Skywarp, Golden Disk Collection Deluxe Class Terrorsaur, Buzzworthy Bumblebee Legacy Deluxe Class Terrorsaur, Beast Wars Again Versus 2-Pack Terrorsaur

Airazor is a huge improvement over Hasbro’s version. She is now in her correct show colors and looks great.

Inferno

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Voyager Class Inferno

Inferno may have a better paintjob, but it’s not that different.

Ghost Starscream

Previous Mold Use: Earthrise Voyager Class Starscream, Earthrise Voyager Class Skywarp, Earthrise Voyager Class Thundercracker, Earthrise Voyager Class Ramjet, Earthrise Voyager Class Dirge, Selects Voyager Class G2 Sandstorm, Earthrise Voyager Class Thrust, Selects Voyager Class G2 Ramjet, Studio Series Leader Class Coronation Starscream, Buzzworthy Bumblebee Troop Builder Multipack Voyager Class Seeker

The best toy in the whole series is Starscream as a ghost. This toy as awesome.

Haunted Waspinator

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Waspinator, Legacy Deluxe Class Buzzsaw, Buzzworthy Bumblebee Creature’s Collide Deluxe Class Skywasp, Beast Wars Again Versus 2-Pack Waspinator

Waspinator has a darker color scheme than the previous version and Decepticon logos on the sides of his head.

Overall: Are these sets worth buying? I depends how much it means to you to have animation accurate versions of the toys. The only one that I would call an absolute must have is the last set with Starscream’s Ghost. We should have got it long before now.

Thanks for reading!
