Generation Toy Guardian Foo Fighter Battle Damaged Version (Third Party Transformers G1 Protectobot Hotspot)
Hotspot
Vehicle Mode: I love his name, Foo Fighter. Not sure why they called him that. He’s probably not named after the band. Foo fighter was the n name allied pilots gave the brightly colored balls of light seen over Europe during World War II. When seen, radios and compasses did not function correctly. They were seen so often that it was believed they were Nazi weapon. After the war Nazi records indicated they had seen the same thing and thought they were an allied weapon. So he appears to have been named after a UFO. Either that, or foo means fire in some other language. Either way, it’s a cool name. Hotspot is awesome. He has so much molded detail, and I love his giant cannons. I love the design.
Robot Mode: Hotspot is a killer to Transform. He has so many panels, and they all need to be moved just so. He looks awesome in robot mode. I love his head sculpts and the tires on his shoulders.
Overall: Hotspot is awesome. I can’t recommend him enough.
