Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Legion Wave 5 (Ace Vehicon, Bluestreak, Divebomb, Rot Gut)
At long last, I’ve tracked down all the Beast Hunters toys canceled for USA release. Blogs for all should be up shortly.
As these are all repaints, please refer to my previous blogs for reviews of the molds, Air Vehicon (Ace Vehicon), Smokescreen (Bluestreak), Windrazor (Divebomb), and Blight (Rot Gut).
Ace Vehicon
What a great color scheme! This toy looks really awesome. In jet mode he only has paint on the windshield and two small orange apps, but it still looks really nice. His robot mode looks fantastic.
Bluestreak
A blue Bluestreak! He looks really sharp in these colors. This is the best toy in the wave.
Divebomb
I much prefer Divebomb’s color scheme to the original Windrazor colors. He looks really nice in both modes.
Rot Gut
This is not a bad color scheme on this toy, but it’s certainly the weakest toy in the wave.
Overall: Bluestreak is a must, and I highly recommend Ace Vehicon and Divebomb, but these things are so expensive to get, it’s really hard to justify the cost.
