Toy Reviews: Transformers: Age of Extinction Legends Logo Variations (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream)

Please refer to this blog, my original post about the three Legends toys in 2014 style packaging available at discount stores.  Since then these three have started showing up with black logos in place of their original color logos.

Note the change in location on Optimus Prime’s logo from his left shoulder to his left elbow (sorry about the blurry picture).  Interestingly, this is not just a matter of a change in ink color, the logos themselves have changed.  As you can see, they all have outlines not present on the originals.  The Bumblebee has been reported in the USA for a while, but the last report I saw on the other two said they had only been seen in the UK and Germany.  It’s quite likely that is because you can easily miss Optimus Prime’s logo if you don’t know what to look for and you can’t see Starscream’s logos while he is in the package.  A friend of mine found them in Wisconsin.
