Transformers: Generations: Combiner Wars Deluxe Protectobot Groove

The first thing of note about Groove, is that while they call him “Protectobot Groove” he is not actually a member of the Protectobots. On the package he is shown as an alternate right leg for Sky Reign. I sometimes have to wonder if anyone at Hasbro has even the most basic understanding of their own toy line. Yes, I am aware that the Protectobots toys aren’t really on the shelves anymore. What does it matter? This toy is only available online anyway. It’s so easy to get these things right, and Hasbro continuously does stupid things like this.
Combiner Wars Groove is almost identical to the Unite Wars version at least in any way that would be obvious, He has slight color differences on his red and blue translucent plastic, slightly remolded gun handles, a different type of pin in his knees, and uses silver screws instead of black. Why the changes? Who knows.
Overall: I would say that this toy is a must have, but as he is not meant to combine with the other Protectobots, he is pretty pointless.
