Transformers Masterpiece Grapple

Grapple is repainted and remolded from Masterpiece Inferno.

Accessories

Grapple comes with quite a few accessories.  There is a bonus die cast Ultra Magnus figure, three additional faces, a cartoon black gun hand and yellow helmet, a tool, a model of the Solar Power Tower, and plans for the Solar Power Tower, as well as other accessories shown below.  One change from Inferno that I noticed is that his faces seem to be interchangeable with both helmets.  Inferno had two faces for each helmet.

Grapple

As with Inferno, Grapple comes with both cartoon and toy versions of the grill and bumper.  He has a crane in place of Inferno’s ladder that includes the hydraulic lift, which necessitates his gun be stored off center and further back than on Inferno.  His hook can be swapped out for a claw or a bucket.  He retains Inferno’s stabilizers.  He actually has a different gun mold than Inferno, which I thought was interesting.  Like Inferno, Grapple looks just awesome in robot mode.  They really did a nice job on him.  I did have one issue.  I could not get the tool he comes with into his hand.  It’s so small, there just wasn’t enough area to put pressure on to get the flat peg into the slot.  Now we just need Hound, Jazz, Mirage, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker, Hoist, and Skids to complete the first and second year Autobot cars.
