Transformers: The Last Knight Deluxe Cogman
Transformers: The Last Knight Toy Reviews
Titan Master
Cogman seems to be designed like most early Japanese Headmasters where his Headmaster is his true form, and his larger robot/vehicle, a “transtector”, essentially, a lifeless body he controls. Whatever. This line is so all over the place I think they were just trying to find a way to make the toy make sense since it really has nothing to do with his appearance in the movie. Par for the course.
Vehicle Mode: I love Cogman’s car mode. It looks great. I did have a little trouble getting his windshield pegged into the hood, and it really isn’t in all the way. The hood has no support under the back, so just pushing down on the windshield pushes the hood down rather than the pegs into the holes.
Robot Mode: Cogman looks great in robot mode. He has a very cool head sculpt. The sword is meant to be Cade’s sword from the movie. This makes no sense as Cogman never used Cade’s sword and there is no Cade figure anyway. If there is one thing that all the movie lines have failed at, is action figures of the human characters. I would love a six inch scale line of highly detailed human figures.
Overall: It’s a great toy, even if they didn’t really think it through. He can accommodate two Titan Masters inside. I really wish they had included a small figure of Sir Edmund Burton that could fit inside with Cogman. That would have been really cool. If you want Cogman you best check eBay. I haven’t even seen wave 3 on shelves yet, though I have heard some are out there. He can be gotten for around $30.
