Transformers: Age of Extinction Deluxe Lockdown
Well, it seems like it’s been months since there was a new AOE deluxe toy out. And it actually has been. It was early June when I got Slash and Drift, and there have been no deluxes since. Kind of depressing actually.
Vehicle Mode: Lockdown’s vehicle mode is awesome. He is a Lamborghini Aventador. This is a really cool looking car. I particularly like the blue windows with the dark gray. I kind of wish he had side windows though. That would look even better. The gun is kind of enormous on his roof, but you have to put it somewhere, so that’s as good a place as any I suppose.
Robot Mode: I like the head sculpt, but I wish they had painted his eyes. The box art has them as bright green. Not sure if that was the color from the movie, it’s been a while since I last saw it. Whatever the color, I would have liked to see them painted. Otherwise his robot mode is great. My only complaint is the design of his gun when he uses it on his head. You can still see his robot head underneath. It would have looked better if the gun had a hood that fit over his head so you couldn’t still see it.
Overall: The is a really great looking toy. If you can find it, I highly recommend it.
